  • What types of animals do you handle?         

          We handle domesticated dogs, cats, birds, & reptiles. We do not handle large animals such as horses or cattle, but we             can certainly point you in the right direction, if that is the case.

  • What areas does Pet-Aide service?

          We offer transport in the Broward county area. We do service customers in South Florida in emergency and/or unique             situations. Call us to discuss your situation (954) Pet-Aide (738-2433).

  • What are your hours?

          Our on-call Pet-Aide specialists will respond to your call 24 hrs. a day/7 days a week/365 days a year, including                           holidays! Emergencies can happen anytime and we are available to dispatch help to you, day or night.

  • When do I pay for service?

         Please pay at time of service. We accept all major Credit/Debit cards. For the safety of our drivers, we do not carry cash.          Sorry, no personal checks.

  • Where do you take my pet?

          You may choose the drop off/pick up location. If you do not yet have a Veterinarian to care for your pet, we can guide             you to trusted, Emergency and other pet providers of quality care. We have working relationships with most veterinary           practices throughout the Broward county area.

  • Do you service aggressive animals?

          We help all animals, especially those in crisis. Our Pet-Aide Techs carry: Muzzles, Rabies Poles and apply restraint                     methods to help minimize the chance of injury to both pet and person. Please be willing to provide proof of Rabies                   vaccine. If your pet is prone to aggressive behavior, let us know right away.   • Do Pet-Aide treat pets?

No, we may not diagnose, perform surgery, prescribe, or euthanize. We do what
ambulances do; take the pet patient and its owner in the most comfortable manner possible to the hospital  or Veterinarian choice. We notify the facility so that they are prepped and ready for the emergency.

  • Do you tranquilize aggressive animals?

          No. Any chemical restraint may alter tests and/or treatment your Vet will provide upon arrival at the clinic. It is                           Veterinary protocol to run tests to assess an animal’s health with accurate results. In the Florida animal community,

          we are well known for our expert care & handling of aggressive, ill or injured animals. Recommended by most mayor

          of the City Servicing South Florida.

  • Will you enter my home?

         Yes. Only with your permission, we may enter the home, with your presence, to assist in securing your animal into a                customized Pet-Aide Ambulance for transport to a  facility of your choice. 

  • Can I ride along with my pet?

          Yes. In special cases, we may ask the pet’s owner to ride separately if doing so will    improve your pet’s circumstance.
          Pet-Aide vehicles are equipped to provide the best care during transport for animals. Passenger space is limited &                   dependent on your situation. We are waiting for a wheel chair equipped vehicle to arrive in the near future. 

  • How much do you charge?

          Our pricing depends on several factors. See our services and pricing section in this website.

  • Who is Pet-Aide?

Pet-Aide is a pet transportation ambulance service available 24 hours a day seven days a week. We transport your pet to the animal facility of your choice. We carry muzzles, stretchers in our Pet Ambulance. While in transport, no Veterinary treatment will be provided for your pet. Your pet will be monitored while in transport and communicationswill be made with the destination facility regarding your pet's condition
